Thermal sources and natural hot reservoirs long since drew attention as indicators of high thermal activity of the Pannonsky hollow. The majority of such sources is dated for breaks in mesozoic, mainly Triassic, karbonatnyh breeds of the central Hungarian ridge. The question is put so: Or the high regional thermal stream in a hollow (if, of course, data reliable) is caused pripoverhnostnymi by the phenomena, or it has a deep origin, i.e. It is connected with the top cloak.
In this article we give a report geological and geophysical, first of all geothermal, characteristics of the Pannonsky hollow and we try to resolve this question.
