the Thermal stream in italii
M.Loddo and F.Mondzhelli
The Summary. It is investigated more than 50 measurements of a thermal stream executed in Italy. The values corrected only on influence of local factors (when they are present), concern the main geological structures and make: in areas forlanda 55 yo 19 мВт/м2, in the advanced deflections 45 yo 21 мВт/м2, in folded zones and intermountain hollows 76 yo 28 мВт/м2. In development areas vulkanizma the thermal stream raises to 600 мВт/м2 and more. From the point of view of tectonics these values will be co-ordinated with a hypothesis that the mountain chain of the Apennines consists of two bow-shaped structures, one of which is stretched from Laguria to Latium, and another from Campaign to Calabria, and in both structures geophysical features, characteristic for typical island arches are shown.
The Italian region is one of most tektonicheski active in Europe. Obviously, thermal stream plays here the important role, and its studying should help to understand the occurring phenomena. Besides, volcanic activity to Italy and existence of geothermal fields Larderello and Monte-Amiata is the one more prominent aspect forcing us to pay attention to power problems. Researches on theoretical and applied geotermike go to Italy different ways and solve different problems, but supplement each other.
In following sections after discussion of some questions connected with ways of measurements and data processing, we result the review of data on a thermal stream and we analyze in general its distribution in connection with the basic geological, tectonic and geophysical features of region.
